About Shijun Munns
Born and raised in the south of china, I have long enjoyed the beauty, tranquility, and lush environment this area affords. I find the mountains and ocean beaches to be some of my favorite places. With a passion for Art, I look at the world with an artist's eye and a poet's heart. My oil paintings express my appreciation of nature with a simple intimacy that conveys a quiet emotion and a gentle strength. I have always been interested in portraying people, human relationships and their interactions with life. I am most interested in the philosophical and emotional side of imagery. I use visual media to express my feeling rather than narrating it. My oil paintings are truly an expression of the person I am today. I hope you enjoy my work...
